Christmas 2006

I don't know. It just doesn't feel like Christmas. I guess maybe if we were in Denver (with a few feet of snow) it would be different, but here in New Jersey it feels like spring. I think it is because someone has been messing with the thermostat.

It did feel a bit more like Christmas today as we put up the tree.

This year has been good. That seems so cliché to say, but it really has. Anna is in her Sophomore year at American University with straight A's. Eva is a Junior in High School. College hunting is becoming a necessary pastime. Maria is a Sophomore in High School. She is busy in the theatre group along with Eva

We went on another epic road trip to the Southwest USA this summer. It felt good to be free of the "normal" life for a few weeks.

Monika and I both started new jobs on the same day in June. She is now a full time employee of the State of New Jersey as a Polish interpreter. I started with a different company that does medical marketing. Both of us have new opportunities and responsibilities which make each day a challenge.

The new year is bringing yet more opportunities and challenges. We are pretty sure that we'll have good news to announce in a few weeks. We'll keep you in suspense until then.

We hope that this year was good for you too.

Make sure you take some time to enjoy life and your family this year. On the last day of our vacation we read a very interesting article. Make sure you take some time to enjoy everything you have worked so hard for.
